Chiropractic is based within scientific fact that the entire body is controlled by the brain and nervous system. Since vertebrae are subject to a variety of stresses, they can move and misalign, trapping the nerve that passes between them. This misalignment is called a Subluxation. There may or may not be pain. One thing is for sure, the life force (nerve flow) is interfered with and the body is subject to disease and breakdown. Acupuncture is based upon the principle of balancing "CHI" energy (Life Force). This can be accomplished with or without needles. Imbalance of CHI can cause a varity of illnesses. |
